Mistake # 21564

I saw this

a couple of months ago......

I just thought if I closed my eyes and pretended.... it really wouldn't be there.....

And if I did not blog about it... it really did not exist....

Because.... I repaired these cracks!!! Over a year ago. Actually almost two years ago, before Chris worked on the foundation and re-leveled much of the house.

MISTAKE # 21564 in remodeling a house.
DO NOT fix any cracks in drywall or plaster or drywall over plaster before working on foundations and leveling a house.

But I did. Because, I was trying to get our bedroom livable..... And......he did not tell me he was going to use 3 jacks to level up so much of the house.

Anyway........... just another hole to repair.

Oh, Jenni - you just should have not blogged it! Damn, now it's real and really needs fixing.

Have I said lately how cute Puppy's face is? I just want to smoosh his white muzzle.

I believe it's called "remuddle" - when you fix one thing and make something else worse. On the bright side, think how perfect your plaster repair skills will be when you've finished.

I too found one of these a few days ago but we haven't done any repairs to the foundation! It's behind a curtain - so I may pretend I didn't even find it.

Oh - I'm sorry. We have one of these too. I keep trying to ignore it, but it keeps refusing to go away on its own, stubborn thing!

Sorry... We have a few of those too and they drive me crazy.

Maybe you could stencil something over it? Like how I had a friend who had a woman's name tattooed on his arm and when they parted, he just had her name tattooed over with some kind of Celtic thingy.
