I have been nursing these Camellias back to health for a couple of years now.
And this week, a BLOOM. YAY!
Ok....I know what you are thinking. No, it is not a pretty bloom, but I am happy considering these plants were stubs overgrown with ivy.
A couple of weeks ago, I bought this.

Bloom looks pretty damn good to me.
I wish we could plant camellias here in Michigan.
It's snowing here...yet again.
I'm so jealous of your bloom. I think I'm quite a few weeks away from any of those...sigh.
Actually, I was thinking "what a pretty flower;" and then I gazed wistfully out the window at my own garden, sleeping quietly under a blanket of snow.
I am so jealous, we are weeks & weeks away from anything bloom-like.
I want to garden! ~pout~
