I stayed there, at the Kress, last June. And we spent from opening to an hour after closing at the National Civil Rights Museum, very moving.
Thanks for bringing back memories

What amazing detail! I love Tennessee. My brother and his family still live there.

Gorgeous! Those blue floral swags look like they're piped on a wedding cake.

Moderne- Isn't it a lovely building. We stayed in the same hotel, but we had a park view in the other building.

Marilyn- Yes it is like a wedding cake.

Dana- As many times as I have flown into Memphis, to go to Tupelo, I really didn't get to explore the city much. Jill and I spent one Sunday there years ago, but we didn't have much time to see things. Stay away from Graceland. Not worth it.
