I think...I typed to soon...

When I mentioned finding dinosaur bones in the rubble pile.
Maybe, it is a possibility.

I found this little guy (girl?) sunbathing on the deck this afternoon, looking quite fashionable in his turtleneck.

Really…..He was little……….Not scary……

I don’t mind if he stays as long as he keeps up the good job of keeping down bug populations. I just hope he stays outdoors, and doesn’t venture inside.

How cute! What is that?

I say how cute... but if it was on MY deck I think I would go inside. :)

I looked her up in Audubon Society's Field Guide to the Southeastern States ...He is a Green Anole. quote: "Erroneously called a chameleon." It also states the male has a pink neck. So this may be a girl. I didn't see any pink.

I used the zoom..

I was about to comment that it's an Anole. I had one as a pet as a kid. They sell them in pet shops for about five bucks. The worst part was having to keep crickets to feed him. I used to have mine bite onto my finger because it doesn't hurt (all you feel is pressure) but he'll just dangle from your finger by his mouth! I kinda miss 'ol Arnold after reading your post!
